This manual is far from complete and additions will be made depending on user input. Please browse throught the several topics on the navigation links on the left.
Extract the zip file on your computer into an empty folder, and upload the entire folder content to where you want your website to run.
If you upload the zip file to the server and extract it locally, make sure that all folders and files will end up with the right permissions.
After uploading everything, assure that the folders have the right permissions, or set them if necessary::
LightNEasy install should work with no problem now.
If install gives error messages saying that it couldn't create any folder, you will have to create them yourself. In this case, the folder permissions must be 777.
That also means that generate will probably fail (LightNEasy will not have permission to create your site pages).
You can, however, either change your site's root permission to 777 or install LightNEasy in a subfolder and set its permissions to 777. You can always place a splash page or a redirector in your root folder.
